A favicon, also known as a shortcut icon, website icon, tab icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon, is a file containing one or more small icons, associated with a particular website or web page.The 'favicon.ico' typically fetched from website.com/favicon.ico. Your browser will automatically request it when browsing to different sites. If your browser receives a valid favicon.ico file, it will display this icon.
How to do
1. Go-- to -- FAVIC-O-MATIC .com (https://favicomatic.com/)
2. Favicon image to a website that converts your image into an .ico file format the icon as 16 x 16 pixels because these websites size the favicon for you. Just be sure your image is square (32 x 32 pixels, 64 x 64 pixels, and so on). Less than 100KB.
3. Now select , or If you want to customize select Advanced setting.
4. Now upload your image
5. Now it automatically convert your image .ico file format
(32 x 32 pixels, 64 x 64 pixels, and so on)
6. Then download it.
How to Upload Your Own Favicon to Blog
7. Login to your blog, go to -- Layout--Edit -- Favicon
8. Browse to upload your own icon , Finally save it.
